My family found an injured pigeon and tried to nurse it back to health. We named the sweet thing Cute Joe or CJ… CJ was a sweetie. Loved to cuddle up against your neck and snatch up seeds and crumbs from anywhere, even your lips. Alas, one day we woke and he (or she, we never knew) was struggling to breathe. We loved on CJ all day and my kids dropped everything to make his last hours peaceful. Got this piece to honor our time with CJ, and we love it.
