Frequently asked questions

I'm interested in hiring you for an illustration job. Can I?

Of course. Just get in touch with details and I'll see what I can do.

And do you take personal commissions?

Absolutely, depending on what it is, and how much time I have. Again, just get in touch.

How much will it cost?

That very much depends on what it is, and how nicely you ask.

Can I buy prints via your website?

Yes! You can purchase prints directly from me by visiting the Designs page; all purchases are handled through Paypal checkout. If your chosen design is not available as a print, get in touch and I'll see what I can do.

How much is shipping?

It's free! Wherever you are in the world, whatever dimension you're currently residing in, if the postal service can reach it, I'll post to it, and I won't charge you any extra.

If I buy lots of things will you throw in some exciting freebies?

Almost certainly. Only one way to find out.

I've seen you sell other things! What if I want to buy stuff that's not available here?

I do indeed make and sell a plethora of things, so what you want may not be available here. If you're looking for original artworks, limited editions, and handmade items, the best place to go is to my etsy shop, or, even better, find me selling in person at a comic con or market (don't go giving me the old "but I live on the other side of the planet!" excuse). You can also find my work printed on items at, among others, Society6 and Zippi. If you still can't find what you want, let me know and I'll see what I can do

What media do you work in?

Primarily in pen and ink, though I also do some mixed media work, printmaking, and digital editing. Any questions about my process, feel free to ask

Where can I see your newest work?

The best way to keep up with what I'm doing is to follow me on Instagram, where you can see what I'm working on alongside sketches, doodles, weird things I come across on my travels, and bad selfies.

I'm an artist too! Let's collaborate/swap stuff/make out.

Yes please.

I want to use an existing piece of your artwork for something. Can I?

Maybe. But please ask first. Feel free to post pictures to your blog/page/tumblr/whatever, but do please credit me and link back to my site.

I want to get a tattoo of your artwork. Can I do that?

Definitely. Just make sure you get an awesome tattooist to do the job. And send me a photo please. I can also draw custom tattoo designs, but you have to pay me for those.

I run a shop. Do you wholesale?

I do! I can provide prints wholesale, either in standard form or mounted/framed, alongside other things like notebooks and badges. Contact me for more info.

I run a comic con/market/other event and I'd like you to be there, how can I make this happen?

Just ask. If I'm free, and it sounds like fun, I'll probably do it.

Do you have your own books/comics available?

Not at the moment, but I'm working on it. Soon, my child, soon.

Haven't I seen you dressed as Doctor Who somewhere?

Yes. Fezzes are cool. Shut up.

Can I ask you a number of intimate personal questions?

I'd really rather you didn't, but if you do, expect some evasive and entirely ambiguous answers. If, however, you need to ask anything else that's not covered here then go ahead.
